Showcasing her versatility, the more traditional pastoral landscape style of painting of ALIEF evokes the softness of different time. The calm, (almost) muted pallet suggests those early Texas mornings when you can smell the dew on the grass. Perhaps it depicts a summer storm off in the distance, or better yet, having just passed. Regardless the time or season, it is the place and the way things used to feel captured so beautifully by a master painter!
