Paper can be layered, just like experiences and memories. Starting with paper and playing with the materials and color (first as a purely abstract endeavor) became an emotional journey for the artist herself as she looked upon her canvas and there it was! JASPER, CANADA- a place so full of happy and wonderful memories – subconsciously bringing her right back to a happy place and time the sun held her face just so, like the delicate and wondrous nature of the memories caught in those warm and positive rays filling the abstract landscape of our mind.
